Hydrangea Mop Heads . . .



 

 

Hydranges

the Irish call them

Mop Heads

 

these are growing in the front of my friend Jackie's house

planted in the forties probably

Jackie does nothing

NOTHING

to aid in their growth, color, vibrancy

doesn't water or feed them

protect them or provide care

 

she invites me to come over to cut them

she wants non for herself

aren't they lovely

aren't I lucky to have her hydrangeas
and
her friendship

bet she won't mind if we wish her a
