Here are some shots of a city building I finished for my HO scale railroad. It's made up of the fronts of three City Classics Grant Street models. The side curves to match the tracks that run beside it. The one side is open because another building goes beside it, so there was no sense wasting the plastic to build a side no one would ever see. The windows all have custom printed gold leaf letters. I scanned in the front of the model before adding the walls, then used MS Publisher to create text boxes that matched the window openings. I have a printer that is similar to a laser printer, that printed gold lettering for each of the "offices" in the building. Many of theme are Tolkien inspired (Elrond's Hair Salon, Sauron's Jewelry etc.) and the rest are named after friends and family members. The bottom right is the Air Horn Saloon, which will have an interior scene visible complete with tables and chairs, but it's not complete yet.
